    Volunteer Trip 2011
   Tanzania, Africa
Ask me about this incredible world wind of a journey. I could never have done it without the help and knowledge of the international program I teamed with to live and work in Africa for 7 weeks, UNITED PLAYGROUND!
Mama Warra is the incredible women who started it all at Sholom Ophanage.  I had a wonderful experience getting to know her, the staff and the 60+ kids that call the ophanage a loving, warm home.
On this journey, I became friends with the two most inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, both named Innocent. These two men (pic left-side below) founded and are running a life-changing organization called 'My Little Traveling Library'.
Check it out! http://www.mylittletravellinglibrary.com/
I also joined together, developed and help coach an all male soccer team we named 'The Shooting Nyota'. Once their orange jerseys were delivered, I had them play a match against an all female USA satellite university soccer team. Guess who destroyed who?
